arc 1: age 18 - 24 Gets a scholarship to Columbia, but plans to join the army instead. He is disqualified from service due to a history of medical conditions. Graduates w/ honors. Gets his BA in Political Science and Urban Studies, with an emphasis in Human Rights and Sustainable Development. Applies for early admission and is accepted into Bernard’s Political Science Master’s program. Graduates with his MA in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics.
arc 2: age 24 - 26 At the behest of his best friend, and now campaign manager Bucky Barnes, Steve runs for and is elected to the New York City Council, representing district 33.
arc 3: age 26 - 30 runs for and is elected to the United States House of Representatives as congressman for New York's 7th congressional district, he serves two terms.
arc 4: age 36 - 42 runs for and is elected to the United States Senate, he serves two terms.

born summer 1069 in york, england
is orphaned in the winter of 1069 during the harrying of the north by a knight named joseph in the service of william the conquer. his birth parents are killed in the thwarted danish uprising when william really establishes his reputation as a brutal, and merciless ruler.
steve is raised as a page by joseph and his wife sarah, who is a nurse for the king’s court. joseph is killed in 1083 during the first of the four-year long siege of sainte-suzanne, but not before he manages to instill in steve the noble/honest ideologies of knighthood (warning him about the lack of piety of william’s tactics without crossing the line of treason).
in 1084 just shy of steve’s 15th birthday he’s sent as a squire to alan rufus in north yorkshire. childless, rufus takes a shine to steve and makes sure his training is above reproach.
after his dubbing ceremony to knight in 1090 - steve stays in the service of rufus until 1095 when he travels to frace against rufus’ wishes to take up the offer of pope urban II to join the first crusade.
1095 - 1099 - march of the first crusades (battle of nicaea, ambush at dorylaeum, visting edessa, battle of antioch, discovery of the holy lance)
1099 - is killed for the first time during the final invasion of jerusalem
